As part of a cross-functional & agile team, I strongly believe in transparency, open communication, and a commitment to align stakeholders and balance business goals with user needs.
Growing up in the Silicon Valley, I've always seen the potential for how tech can integrate into our lives. I've also seen many promising ideas disappear due to confusing UI or frustrating experiences that masked their potential.
I believe that being a designer means balancing being a dreamer and a realist, considering both user needs/wants and business goals, and creating joyful and intuitive experiences that are feasible. Great user experiences are like your favorite restaurant: engaging, delightful, personal and accessible.
A holistic approach to crafting experiences
My background in Electrical and Computer Engineering and running my own wedding photography business has made me an adaptable designer that balances both analytical, technical and creative efforts. These experiences have enabled me to be flexible and open to new possibilities, and do whatever it takes to create successful products and experiences. As a wedding photographer, I specialize in creating unique experiences for each client. I'm passionate about the customer experience and I believe that empathy and sincerity can transform a client experience into a delightful experience.
In my spare time, I love learning new things and geeking out on gear and DIY projects to improve my home. I'm happiest watching hours of Youtube videos to learn more about a new topic (ask me what I'm learning now!). Even when learning something random, I never know when I'm going to apply that knowledge or morph it into a useful experience. I believe that constantly learning new things is the only way to continue growing and empathizing with others.
I believe that being a UX designer means balancing being a dreamer and a realist, considering both user needs/wants and business goals, and creating joyful and intuitive experiences that are feasible and get the job done. I love tackling problems because that means there's a solution that hasn't been found. Good UX is like your favorite restaurant (whether it's a hole-in-the-wall or Michelin-rated): engaging, delightful, and accessible.
I'm passionate about creating great experiences for people. Growing up in the Silicon Valley, I've always seen the potential for how tech can integrate into our lives. I've also seen many promising ideas disappear due to confusing interfaces that masked their potential.
As a wedding photorapher, I specialize in bringing out the unique qualities in each client. While creating beautiful photos is my passion, I believe that empathy, sincerity and great service can transform my images into timeless memories.
In my spare time, I love lying on my cat Meow and getting way too addicted to CW shows. I love learning new things and diving deep to understand what motivates peoples' hobbies and interests. I'm happiest watching hours of Youtube videos to learn more about random things. Even when I learn something that seems unrelated, I never know when I'm going to apply that knowledge or morph it into a useful experience. People's motivations and needs change over time and I believe that constantly learning new things is the only way to continue growing and empathizing with others.
Here's some of my favorite images, enjoy!
